The other day I was reading about a site here on BZ that I thought sounded interesting, and when I checked it out, found that it had some good content. So I subscribed, and then found that it only offered partial feeds. I immediately unsubscribed.
I found it particularly interesting that the post I read talked about how many views and visitors the site got each month. Well, yeah, when you *force* people to come to your site, it'll artificially inflate your stats.
Ah well, another site I won't visit simply due to the fact that they refuse to let me consume their content in a way that's convenient for me.

And, yes, the boasting about traffic stats, etc., gets annoying. But so does the "I'm too good to click through and read a blog entry" stance, Dude.
I don't see it as an issue. People still have full posts to read, and the ones they might really like, they can take the time to click and read it on the blog itself.
