How To Copy Your WordPress Database | CK Marketing

This is the next part in my WordPress series. So far we have created a local web server, installed a local copy of WordPress and copied the theme and plugins to it.

In this part we install a database backup plugin, create a backup. then we edit it so that the URLs will point to the local mirror of your blog.

Finally we import the new file into the local copy of WordPress along with the upload folder so that all the post's graphics are also visible.
