I got indexed by Google in 6 days!!

This is nothing new as it is published all over the net. But in case you don’t yet know:

Don’t submit to Google to get indexed

This will take weeks as you will get stucked in the sandbox. Read CourtnetTuttle.com excellent article on this.

Here’s what I did:-

1. Add to feedreaders
I subscribed to my own blog’s feed using Google Reader and My Yahoo. For safe measures I also added my feed into Bloglines and www.google.com/ig

2. Comment on blogs
I went and commented on one PR4 and one PR2 websites. Although most blogs implement the No Follow tag, there’s no harm in getting a little traffic for my new blog. Of course it’s better to comment on Do Follow blogs if you can find them.
