Google Penalty Using WordSniper Theme

Using Court's Wordsniper theme, I managed to get a site to page four on Google for a keyword with 5,000+ searchs in 8 days. The site quickly went up the ranks. I had a one word keyword with high search volume, and I made it to page four. Damn, was I happy. I woke up on day 9 to find that my site's listing had been removed for that keyword. Court's Wordsniping is good, maybe a little too good.

A one week blog old that going so fast using back link may be seen as a spamblog.. It is a one-week blog old so it is not hard to push it down by others blog with the same keyword. Older blog always got a huge advantage.

This is not a penalty. It is what it is when you are first creating a niche you may be on page one today and page 500 the next then come back and be on page 5 then page 456 then page one this will keep happening till the blog gets aged. Do what we do, do not worry about it build a new one and keep doing the same thing over and over again.

Thanks for the advice Vic. Do you know about how old a domain needs to get before it stops bouncing around?

I can find posts on the blog when I search for keywords individual posts are aimed at, but its damn near impossible for me to find my home page. Its still listed in Google if you search for it directly.

Hope it comes back soon. 90% of the competition sucks. So I'll just keep updating it here and there, and just let it age.

It sucks big time and trust me this takes every new person by surprise and we think quickly we did something wrong and now we got penalize. The algorithm is really suspicious when you are a brand new site and if moves you a lot around the first few months. With the pre-owned domain I have found that after a year you are pretty much out of sandbox territory but if you read my blog you know I am a paranoid bitch so right now if I am buying a pre-own domain for monetization the older the better and a minimum of 2 years.

I had the same thing happen with 2 niche blogs. Ranking like crazy and then 'POOF!' back to page 900 or so. I'm just continuing to work the keywords that I had targeted and we'll see what happens.
