A lot of blog start writing oh my god my rss number dropsâ€¦ it is Google Blogs attack againâ€¦.

Please, do you really care if your rss number drops to 50%? If this action affects you, I have news for you: you are not doing something right. I mean, Google search engine have no rss subscriber but everyone use itâ€¦ hotmail have no rss subscriber but a lot of people use itâ€¦ Facebook myspace tooâ€¦ What they have in common.....

Hi there! Good reasoning. It's post like this that people should take notice and not some silly drop in their RSS feed. I too subscribe to RSS feeds but I don't have the time to check out often what's new. I check my email more than my Google Reader. So I might as well subscribe via email to some good blogs with meaningful content rather than go ga-ga about how many feed readers I have. Just voted for you.

I know from my own site that 150 feedreader subscribers might get me 2-3 actual readers on any given post. My email subscriptions bring in far more traffic. Rss feeds may look good to the novice but they sure don't provide the traffic they would lead you to believe.
