n the first part of the series I'll tell you about some of the Microstock basics. We'll start off by explaining a way to get a basic workflow.

Own a camera
To start off, the first thing you'll need is a camera. It doesn't necessarily needs to be a high end digital camera, even an old 35mm film camera will be fine!

Based on my experience I can tell that there aren't huge differences between different point and shoot cameras. Even Bridge/Superzoom cameras do not show real improvements, they just offer more manual controls and a higher zoom range. These cameras are just right to get started. Especially the fact that you can carry them with you all the time makes them perfect to capture the perfect moment when your DSLR lies at home, wailing for your return.
